My experience-Bleh

I am not like most, I don't have migraines daily, or even monthly. So I guess I am thankful for that. I tend to get maybe 5 a year, but theyre REALLY intense. Crippling nausea, really bad pain behind my eyes, it usually puts me out for at least a day, totally non functional. Often times I end up in the hospital because I can't bear the pain anymore And usually for days afterwards, my vision isnt right, my head feels heavy, my thoughts feel slow. 30 year old male, with no option but to curl in a ball and hope it goes away. Well, anyways I had one this morning and my work is pretty pissed at me for going home. Im mad at myself for having one, even though that doesnt make much sense. But my migraines seem to becoming more frequent and I have no idea how to treat them. My neurologist is quite literally useless, Ive tried to find another but theres not many covered by my insurance. I guess I am just frustrated right now and wish there was more research done on migraines and how to treat them. Ive been having migraines for 10 years now and have no idea what triggers them
