My experience-You might have irlens syndrome...
As a really basic summary of what it is, it's essentially a sensitivity to light. Your brain works harder to process light than a 'normal' brain and this can trigger (among other things) migraines. It classes as a neurological condition.
I have had chronic migraines for over 15 years and was diagnosed with irlens at uni. What they failed to mention was that I should get a pair of spectral filter glasses rather than just a colour overlay for my work.
I looked into it again recently and my work agreed to cover the cost of the appointment and lenses. I've been wearing these glasses for about a month now and I am yet to have a full blown migraine. I even had one start overnight and a few hours after putting on my glasses in the morning it had subsided rather than getting worse. It's wild. I've been on so many meds and all it took was some coloured glasses?
Look it up and check the common symptoms, you might be surprised how many you tick off.
Just want to share my experience because if you have this too, it could change the game for you!
