My experience-Sumatriptan 50 mg for migraines?
different kinds of headaches have always been an issue for me. i had multiple neurologist appointments who said it doesn’t look like i have migraines(but i have the worst pain during these episodes compared to just regular headaches i get).
every time when i feel nauseous and exhausted, i know i’ll get a bad headache and my left eye/ear/side of jaw will start to hurt. usually i’m taking ibuprofen or some painkillers with caffeine, but it hasn’t been helpful.
the pharmacist recommended sumatriptan 50 mg(there was an option for 100 mg as well). i got them. currently took one few minutes ago and i’ll hope it helps because i really can’t function and i spent my whole evening crying.
is this medication helpful? is there anything else that helps?
