My experience-mini rant abt school accomodations lol

so i've been suffering from migraines for over 4 years and they have specifically gotten worse this year. i'm currently taking a calculus class where our teacher said that we could have our lowest grade taken out of our midterm mark. however, since i wasn't there for the most recent test (due to migraines) and midterms are due soon, my teacher only has 3 of my tests (including the lowest one) whereas everyone else would have 4 tests including their lowest mark. due to this, she is keeping my lowest grade in my midterm while everyone else gets their lowest grade factored out. i tried asking for accommodations twice (and i already submitted a doctor's note) but they still won't factor out my lowest grade or even weigh it less in the midterm average. I will still be taking the 4th test, but that will be after midterms.

i'm wondering if anyone has experienced something similar? it's starting to make me feel like i might be asking for too much. but on the other hand, but i also wish that teachers could be more understanding:(
