My experience-I need help finding help

I (19F) have been having migraines since I was maybe 5 or 6 years old. About 3 weeks ago a migraine started that hasn't gone away. I've never had a migraine for longer than a week, and this one has been really messing up my life. I went to the urgent care after the 2nd week and had a drs appointment, I've tried triptans and they tried a few different abortive injections but nothing has even touched the pain, and the last treatment seemed to make the nausea a lot worse instead of better. Even though the Drs I saw tried lots of medications they didn't try any actual diagnostics or anything to figure out why it was happening or treat the cause. Is that normal? What can I do to find more help? Lots of people on here talk about seeing a neurologist, could they do more to help? I'm really clueless and I just need help knowing what help I should even look for.
