Migraine - Topamax : Women-care

What exactly causes a migraine?
The exact cause of migraines is unknown, but they're thought to be the result of abnormal brain activity temporarily affecting nerve signals, chemicals and blood vessels in the brain.

I’ve started Topamax about two weeks ago and it’s not been too bad, but I’ve noticed I’ve had a constant really low grade head pain. I wouldn’t even call it a headache, my head just constantly feels like there’s pressure. Is that something I should worry about/will go away? The other thing that’s bothering me is that I’ve had a sore throat? I’m not sick and I saw that cold symptoms can sometimes be related to the medication. Any advice pls
