Hi,

Hoping to get some responses by migrainers who are/were using a Mirena IUD and how the experience has been in regards to changes of severity and frequency with headaches and migraines. I was hoping to make the switch from depo to an IUD but saw some of the side effects are migraines. I have chronic migraines with daily headaches and averaging 12-15 migraine days a month already and am afraid to make them even worse.

I started depo to reduce hormonal migraines and it has helped, but am looking for a longer term solution instead to avoid potential scheduling issues for injections while traveling.
