My experience-Visual disturbances

I have chronic migraine without aura, from suspected MCAS probably. Usually when my head hurts like it currently does I don't try to use my eyes much but I'm bored out of my mind and am probably mistakenly trying to read my book. And I keep having to fight around what kinda looks like sunspots, you know like when it's bright outside and then you come indoors and there are spots of darker in your vision for a few seconds?

I've seen illustrations of auras here so I'm guessing that's not what it is. Is there a name or description for this?

And yeah before anyone comments about changes and doctors I am seeing my neurologist in a couple weeks. I don't know that this is "new" per se since like I said I usually just give up on trying to focus my eyes at this point (they only bother me when I'm trying to focus, and mostly in my centre/ lower left field of vision). Nothing else about today or this migraine is different than normal. I'm just bored and trying to stay awake until a decent hour so I don't mess up my sleep too badly. I will bring it up with the neuro, but I'd also like y'all's thoughts/experiences.
