My experience-CGRP inhibitors/other meds

What are people's experiences with CGRP inhibitors and weight gain? It's not listed as an official side effect but the more I read on reddit the more it seems like everyone gains weight on CGRP inhibitors, but I also wonder if it's selection bias - maybe the only people commenting are the ones who did happen to gain weight? I'm basically out of options at this point but reallllly don't want to gain weight.

Also, does anyone recommend any other migraine meds that don't cause weight gain and don't cause any mental fuzziness or tiredness? I've thought about that cefaly device but from reddit it sounds like the preventative mode (what I need) doesn't work that great and the acute mode only really distracts/lessens the pain.
