My experience-So I get migraines and used a neck massager for the first time…

I recently discovered I grind my teeth VERY bad at night so I have a mouth guard on the way and this could help with my migraines or be the cause because I’m clenching/grinding my teeth all night long.

Yesterday I had a migraine and came home and my head was throbbing intensely. I asked my brother to massage my skull and the relief was immediate. He went downstairs and brought up a giant neck/shoulder massager that plugs in.

I used it about 20 mins on and off and the massage/relief was absolutely insane. The bottom of my skull was so painful and I could tell it’s a huge cause of my migraine. It took some pain away and I went to sleep.

I woke up today with aching pain at the base of my skull muscles. They almost feel swollen. Sore to the touch, like a workout. Should I continue to use the massager through the pain or let it rest? I’m shocked by how much it hurts and makes me hope it’s why I get migraines !!!
