My experience-Surgery pending - speculation on how bad recovery will be?
Hi! I am going to have a surgery on an unrelated part of my body in the next two weeks. I don't usually take pain medication, but I also don't know what to expect out of the recovery.
They're doing a bone debridement and removing dead tissue around the bone. My only real experience with bone pain has been dental surgeries, and those were not exactly fun. Because they were in my face, I obviously got migraines from them.
The surgery isn't in my face, but they're going to be operating on the bone...does anyone think it'll cause migraines? If you have chronic migraine and have had a surgery, what did you do for pain relief? My neuro said I'll need to take pain meds for it, but I'm really reluctant to do it since I get rebound headaches.
