My experience-Nurtec weird side effects

I’ve taken Nurtec twice now on two separate occasions as an abortive for my migraines, and it’s worked somewhat both times. However, on both occasions the next morning I got a migraine that was from hell—different than my regular migraines in the sense that the pain was unbearable and I felt so horribly nauseous I couldn’t even turn my head side to side. The pain was still localized to one side of my face and the back of my head but it felt almost like a burning pain as well as a throbbing one.

I was wondering if that’s related to the Nurtec or if it’s just been an unlucky coincidence that I got two particularly terrible next morning migraines after taking the medication. My PA said Nurtec doesn’t have rebound headaches and I do believe her BUT I am scared to try it a third time and get hit with similar symptoms.

Has anyone had something similar happen to them? Please share.
