My experience-How to cope with migraines before/while trying to conceive?

Saw my neurologist yesterday and it wasn’t so great. He had put me back on Emgality and Nurtec, but before I took my next shot, I wanted to discuss possible pregnancy. I’m getting married in June and planning on starting to try to get pregnant immediately after. At first, he said to discontinue the Emgality about a month before trying, then he looked it up and saw that they recommend 5-6 months of not using it.

Soooo that leaves me… here, I guess. I can keep taking the Nurtec as needed because of its MUCH shorter half-life. But apparently there aren’t any CGRP’s that are OK for pregnancy/trying.

What have others used to try to prevent migraines either before conceiving or while pregnant? The only suggestion he gave me was a riboflavin supplement. Any ideas?
