My experience-Horrible headache and I'm scared

I took one of my ritalin 10mg pills on Friday because I had an appointment with my psychiatrist. He deemed that ritalin makes my heart rate too high, and I can't take it anymore. I hadn't taken it in a few weeks/more than a month or so. Since that day I've had a terrible headache on my forehead coupled with nausea and it won't go away with ibuprofen, paracetamol, or even a triptan. I've been taking Vomex. It waxes and wanes in intensity. I've been only hospitalized once for a migraine, but the pain back then was worse. It was my first migraine too. They did a CT and MRI with dye during that time. Nothing was out of the ordinary, although I felt like I was going to truly die. That was a year and a half ago. Since that time I'm actually taking Amitriptyline 25mg and birth control (Mini pill) to help with hormonal migraines. I'm scared I caused serotonin syndrome or something. I'm going to my doctor tomorrow to see what can be done, but I'm sure it won't help. I'm frightening and shaking with anxiety. It hurts really bad and I'm on the verge of tears.
