My experience-Chewing gives me a migraine post-Botox

I am so sad-mad-distraught!! I had my first round of Botox a couple weeks ago and I feel like I’m falling apart. The back of my neck has been feeling weak/sore and over the past few days I’ve found that chewing any food beyond oatmeal texture triggers a migraine.

I told my neuro that I’m hypermobile and was a bit worried about the Botox and my neck but he brushed it off like I was being silly. I’m thinking I’ll skip the Botox now or maybe see if he’ll avoid my neck.

I didn’t expect to feel better after one round of Botox…but I definitely didn’t think I’d feel worse!!
