My experience-Can a pinched nerve cause a migraine 1-2 weeks later?
I had a pinched nerve on the right side of my neck, so bad that I couldn’t even laugh without feeling it. My head was too heavy for my neck, very sore to lift it. Couldn’t even reach out my right arm very far without pain. It went away within a week.
Then one week after that, I thought I had a mini stroke. Went to the doctor 2 days later and he thinks it was a hemiplegic migraine. I completely forgot about the pinched nerve and didn’t think it was relevant until today. But now I’m wondering if that would’ve caused the migraine if it was a week later.
I took an MRI yesterday and am waiting for my doctor to call me about the results. Hoping all is well, of course. I’m just so scared of it happening again.
