My experience-Botox rebound between doses?

Would like those who take Botox regularly to comment on the rebound migraines between doses. Had my first Botox treatment 12/19 and felt amazing after. Last week (after my period) the migraines came back full force. Abortives do nothing - might as well be taking M&Ms. Started a medrol pack today. Next Botox treatment is 3/15 (a month away!).

Questions: - Has this happened to you? - Why do they come back so strongly? - Anyone know the mechanism of how Botox works on migraines? My doc said it'll take 3 treatments for it to "build up" but Botox doesn't "build up" ... It paralyzes... - Do the breakthrough migraines eventually stop? What do you do when they happen?
