My experience-Quick bursts of pain varying in intensity

Over the last few weeks I’ve (27F) been dealing with quick bursts of head pain. Most recently (hour ago), I got a fast and intense burst of pain on my left side of my head, top near the temple. Once the pain left I got some tingling in my face and left hand. Tingling in face is already gone but hand tingling is lingering. The burst of pain is never typically in the exact same spot and it moves sides day to day. I’m more prone to this pain when I’m sitting and I turn my head/strain my eyes. My better days are when I’m very active with minimal sitting time. This all started around 8 months ago after my son was born then I got a break from it the last couple months. I was taking my magnesium religiously and maintaining an active lifestyle. It just started up again. I will note I have been less active, ran out of my magnesium and only consume 32-48 floz of water a day. I’ve been trying to increase my water intake every day

Does anyone else deal with this pain? I have a doctors appointment Wednesday and a neurologist appointment in a month from now. Wondering if ER or urgent care visit is worth it or if this is just a type of migraine.
