My experience-I feel like Ajovy is failing me :(

The same thing happened with Emgality too... I started with Emgality in the summer of 2021. Everything was great. It was a miracle at first. Pretty much got rid of my headaches altogether. But slowly but surely, it stopped working. Then for most of 2022 I switched to Ajovy and while not perfect, did work at least a lot of the time. But I feel like it's just not doing as good anymore. I've gotten SO many headaches both before and during my period this month, that it almost feels like it's not working at all (and it hasn't worn off yet). So I'm contemplating even getting another injection when I see my neurologist later this month... I've already tried the oral CGRP's and hate them. What's frustrating is that the shots DID work for me. But they seem to just lose effectiveness... do you all notice this? And now I'm taking more triptans (both zolmitriptan and sumatriptan-- I rotate them). And thankfully, after 20+ years of taking them, they still work for me. But I feel like the preventatives are failing me (and I've tried a LOT)... :(

It's just so hard because I feel like my body just WANTS to have headaches... No matter WHAT I throw at it, it's just my body's nature. It's like I'm always trying to fight it and it's exhausting...
