My experience-48 hour intense migraine - feeling really down.

I (33f) was diagnosed with chronic migraines when I was 7. I manage them okay now, but they do come in waves. Im coming out of a 48 hour extremely intense migraine. Worst one pain wise I've had in a year. Today is my birthday and Im just so down and out. I'm exhausted and I don't feel like being around anyone. Im just so tired of how much migraines affect my life. Right now, I have them daily or every other day. I don't know anyone personally that can relate and though people sympathize, they don't really understand how a "headache" can be that bad. After 26 years, I don't really feel like explaining or defending it.

That's all. Just came to vent to people who know.

Sending love to everyone in this sub.
