My experience-Weird symptom during the last migraine attack
I had a weird symptom during my last migraine attack and I don't know if I should be worried. It started as usual, with visual disturbance. After several minutes, I had this weird feeling that I can't really explain but it was similar to having racing thoughts during anxiety attacks but worse and I felt like I couldn't think of two similar words. For example. I could think of the word 'home' but not 'house'. I also felt like I have an episode of depersonalization/derealization. This lasted for around 40 minutes and then it slowly resolved. My speech wasn't affected.
I plan to schedule an appointment with my neurologist but I'm wondering did anyone else had a similar experience? Normally I have a visual disturbance, and numbness on my arm or face during the attack but this is the first time I had problems with my thoughts too. It was like they bounced at high speed all around my head.
