My experience-Laying down makes migraines worse?

Hi everyone, I’ve been having aura migraines on and off for about 4 years now, sometimes 2 a week, sometimes not for months. I have no idea what triggers it. But usually when the aura starts it takes about an hour for the horrible headaches and nausea to start. Now last time because of circumstances last time I wasn’t able to just lay down for a few hours and had to continue my day. The aura continued for about 15 min but the headaches and the nausea never came so I wrote it down as just being a lucky migraine. Today it happened again and wasn’t able to lay down right away. Again no headaches and no nausea, even though this had been the standard for my migraines the past years. I couldn’t find anything on the internet about it but does anyone elses migraines get worse when they lie down?
