My experience-New Symptom: Loss of Appetite
I've been dealing with daily mixed migraines from Occipital Neuralgia and Chronic Migraine Disorder since March. Currently on Long Term Disability through my job. I've been through 2 rounds of Botox and just bumped up to 140mg of Aimovig.
Eating hasn't been an issue thus far, but the past few days I've had no appetite, although I'm hungry. I just have no wish to eat. Nothing sounds appetizing. I've just been drinking water all day and laying down, as the mixed migraine episodes have been a solid 8/10 since Sunday. The sleep meds I take help, but I'm not supposed to eat too late because I'm diabetic. Which, speaking of, throughout the past few days my blood sugar has been elevated even though I'm not eating. Strange.
Anyone else get a sudden loss of appetite as a new symptom? It's accompanied by dizziness and some nausea.
Body aches, fatigue and depression/anxiety continue to be a daily burden.
Another strange, and defeating, symptom is that ice no longer works as a conservative treatment for pain. It's been my go-to since this all began, but now when I use ice it makes the pain way worse. Anyone else experienced this phenomenon?
My cardiologist has referred me to an endocrinologist due to abnormal adrenal gland tests he ran, and my neurologist wants me to see a pain management specialist to accompany the Botox and Aimovig.
I haven't felt this ill in months. I wish I knew what was happening to me.
