My experience-In-between Pains
I’ve had migraines for as long as I can remember, however, this past year they have become increasingly worse and more intense. I have migraines daily but occasionally experience a very intense, out of nowhere, one that has landed me in the hospital every time. Since my last episode, I have had head pain that’s not head pain but is? I’m not sure how to describe it… My neurologist says it could be scalp pain yet I know it’s not from experience. The pain is on and off throughout the day and is on the side, top, or behind my head (usually always on my left side, which is the side my migraines favor). I am familiar with the aftershocks following migraines, but this pain is different. They feel almost like I’m being shocked but the feel sticks around longer than that to really be compared. Occasionally a numb feeling occurs but is a rare occasion.
My apologies if my post didn’t make sense, I truly don’t know how to describe what these “in between” pains/headaches migraines are. Has anyone else experienced this or something similar?
