My experience-I always get headaches between doses of topirmate. Help?

Hi! I’m a chronic daily headache sufferer that just started taking topirmate at 25mg twice a day at 8am and 4pm a little over a month ago. Now this medication has helped a lot with me not getting headaches in the morning, and for almost a whole month I wouldn’t get headaches for days.

But now between 2pm-4pm I’ll get a headache without fail, and since the first dose wears off at 2pm I think that’s why I’m getting one. But I’ve also read that it takes 3 months for this medication to start to work fully. So I’m not sure if I should just keep taking the second dose at 4pm or move it to 2pm, or if maybe me getting headaches between doses could possibly be a sign I need to up the dose next time I go to the doctor.

I just wanted some advice since I don’t go to the doctor for another month and I couldn’t find an answer when I tried to look it up. Thanks!
