My experience-Have y’all played video games? How do they impact your migraines and mood?

Just curious. I got super into video game when my migraines were at their worst. I think it saved my life. It gave me something to do in the day so I’d stop focusing on the pain I was in.

It can be tricky when photophobia plays a role.

But I came to learn that I had to disable head bob/camera shake, blur effect, etc. and that some games were triggering migraines (hello, animal crossing!)

FPS seems to play a huge role. If it’s under 60 I get motion sickness and it triggers a migraine.

What’s your experience?
