Migraine - What’s your nonmedicinal regimen for prevention? : Women-care

Migraine overview

It's often accompanied with the aid of nausea, vomiting, and excessive sensitivity to mild and sound. Migraine assaults can closing for hours to days, and the discomfort can be so excessive that it interferes with your each day activities. For some people, a warning symptom viewed as an air of secrecy takes location until now than or with the headache. An air of secrecy can consist of visible disturbances, such as flashes of mild or blind spots, or different disturbances, such as tingling on one thing of the face or in an arm or leg and concern speaking.

My experience-What’s your nonmedicinal regimen for prevention?

I’ve been feeling pretty demoralized after failing on Botox as a preventative (2 rounds, zero improvement) and worsening on Ajovy (went from 66% of days having a migraine to about 90%). Thankfully my abortives (ubrelvy and neurtec) still work and I’ve found that if they don’t, Sudafed might!

I really don’t want to try another preventative medicine at this point. I would instead like to try coming up with a regimen of nonmedicinal approaches to prevention. Here’s what I’ve been wondering about:

Acupuncture Massage Dietary changes (elimination diet?) Cefaly as a preventative

Have any of the above, or a combination of some other factors, reduced your frequency? I can probably even cope with 10 a month, but I can’t handle continuing with migraines nearly every day.

Also, has anyone ever tried magnesium as an IV infusion? Magnesium reduced my frequency but even 50 of glycinate caused me too much gastric distress to continue.

Sorry my post is a bit scattered… the brain fog is not a joke, y’all.
