My experience-Tired of having no relief
23F and I am seeing a neurologist but I just saw him two weeks ago, next appointment is in January. I am on rizatriptan 40 mg for abortive, gabapentin 200 mg for prevention. I usually take ibuprofen or excedrin along with the triptan.
I have had little to no relief and my neuro told me to "hang in there." He cannot prescribe anything new unless I do an appointment but there is no other appointments until January
I am a student, I cannot miss school or work. I cannot afford to miss anything. I have already been to the ER before but the topiramate shot did not work.
I feel so helpless and no one gets it.
I do not know what to do...
I need help.
