Hello, my fiance is switching from medicaid to private insurance from her comapny. We're kinda freaking out because her prescription company, OptumRx is quoting $700 per month for her Emgality auto injector shot. same here on my insurance but I just second looked & JUST NOTICED, it says in the fine print (30 day supply).

she takes it on a monthly basis. I saw it was $23 per day right next to the "$700 30 day supply". so is it safe to assume that the insurance company thinks she would take it every day for 30 days? does this mean shed only get charged $23/month for the monthly shot? Cuz this is the only medication that works for her but $700/month is ridiculous.
