I got into a car crash on Nov 9, 2021. Ended with a cervical spinal injury (cervical spinal straightening). Since then, I get searing migraines 3-4 times a week. I’d be lucky to get 2-3.

My neurologist started me on Emgality. Doing both loading doses was scary but with ice and practicing my technique (I’m a new health professional) they both went fine. Or so I thought…

I took them both one on each thigh on November 1, it’s November 4 and for some reason my left leg is having a bad reaction. Huge red welt with insane itching. And it weirdly comes and goes.

Has anyone else had anything similar? How long did it take for the medicine to work for you - if it did?
