My experience-Topamax (topiramate) acne side effects

I’m 26 female. I’ve been on 100 mg of topamax for 4 months and only experienced a five migraines which is a great improvement. Besides the tingles in hands and feet and weight loss, I have no complaints. I had adult acne but controlled with help of a cosmetologist NOT a dermatologist because they never seemed to help correctly. Since starting topamax I’ve noticed my skin got wrecked. A lot of acne around my mouth, texture all over my face. My cosmetologist mentioned she had someone else who was on a similar medication who went through the same thing and the break outs didn’t stop until she stopped the medication but I don’t want to stop mine due to how much help it’s been to me. My migraines stopped my life. Now my acne is destroying my self esteem. Has anyone else experienced this as a side effect? And if so, how have you handled it? Thank you.
