My experience-My non-ER migraine cocktail

I had a migraine for most of September, I think brought on by stress from my grandma passing away.

I have struggled with migraines off & on for over 5 years due to IIH, which I am now in “remission” for, I guess, because I’m not taking any medications, IIH or otherwise.

I finally kicked the migraine using the following combo:

-iron supplement(I use an iron prenatal vitamin before bed, as I am anemic and TTC. This is my first time taking iron consistently) -Gatorade -OTC pain relief, I think I had a headache relief combo of ibuprofen, acetaminophen, & caffeine -ice pack on the back of the neck for 10-20 min

I took the iron pill on a Sunday night & did the rest all around the same time Monday morning & by Monday night, I literally felt like a new person. I had energy again & it was literally like a cloud was removed from over me. Like I could see more clearly/ brightly. My coworker even commented that she could tell I was finally feeling better. & I’ve get so much better since then.

I know this won’t help everyone, or even most migraine sufferers, but I thought I’d throw it out there in case anyone could benefit from it.
