My experience-Medications/Moving to a new state

For those that have moved to a new state, how did you handle getting your prescriptions? Just tell the pharmacy to transfer them to a new location, or do I have to tell my doctors individually?

Obviously I will ask my doctors if necessary but I want to prevent a bunch of back and forth. Also if they say they will not service me out of state (even though most appointments are remote) I will be really upset because that likely means another trip through hell trying to get my insurance to approve my Ajovy.

Almost feel like it’s better to not even tell my doctors and just tell the pharmacy.

Thanks!
