My experience-12 day intractable migraine

So ended up going to the hospital twice in a week due to having an intractable migraine. Had full on hemiplegia aura with lights full works. I hadn't had this happen to me in almost 2 years after starting emgality and I had forgotten how awful this was.

On the 10th day my SO took me to hospital where I had to wait 8 hours and then they gave me 1000mg aspirin and 12.5mg of stemitil on a 1l drip. I had completely forgotten how awful the side effects were I was so sleepy but extremely uncomfortable and just couldn't get comfortable.

Ended up just resting the day after but still felt awful so went back to the doctors yesterday so had another stemitil drip but with 50mg of prednisolone. This time I had even worse feelings of being uncomfortable and sleepy is was absolutely awful and I thought about calling an ambulance I can't express how awful the feeling of being uncomfortable is on stemitil. But good news I feel back to fairly normal today and feel much better so seems to have worked.

Has anyone else experienced this at all?
