My experience-Talking therapy recs?

Two years after a chronic status migrainous diagnosis and I’m really struggling to accept the impact migraines have had on my life, career, and relationships (with myself, my partner, my friends, my family…). My migraines are still not even close to under control (4-5x a week) and everything just feels so heavy and impossible right now.

I would greatly appreciate any insight into whether talk therapy was helpful as part of a wider migraine treatment plan and if so, what form or school? My aim is to understand the trauma of the past two years and get better coping skills. Hoping to bring my partner eventually because he’s been by my side through it all (a true angel) and it hasn’t easy on him either.
