My experience-I can't even today
Chronic vestibular migraine sufferer, some days are better than others. Some, like today, are just so bad. I sat for 5 minutes trying to find words that sound logical for this post title. So much pain. Vision is blurry. Dizziness...can't look at anything for more than a few seconds at a time, can't form complete thoughts or sentences. My work day is just not happening. Thankfully I work from home. I've taken my triptan and nothing. Not looking for help or advice, just venting to people who can understand.
Speaking of, my family is generally rather understanding of my condition, especially since some of them are also migraine sufferers. They don't even get them monthly now though and have it well controlled with some simple daily preventative meds. As my migraines have gotten worse these past few years, more frequent, more severe, they seem less willing to believe that I'm telling the truth. They don't understand why I'm always closing the curtains. I say that the sunlight is just so damn painful (plus it overheats the house in the summer) and they just look at me or make a scoffing sound, even sometimes commenting like "you're not a vampire, it can't be that bad." Ugh.
