My experience-Pregnant and the WORST migraines?

I’m 14 weeks pregnant via IVF. For the past three years, I’ve gotten hormonal headaches. Typically, they would start a couple of days before my period, and last anywhere from 2 to 3 days. My doctor said it was due to a dip in estrogen right before my cycle, and that there was really nothing that could be done.

Now, I’m 14 weeks pregnant and getting them every 5-10 days. I thought for sure that when I stopped using all of the IVF drugs, the migraines would taper off. Nope. On Saturday, I was outside in the sun and heat for a couple of hours, and that really did me in. When I woke up yesterday morning, I had extreme light sensitivity and I could feel one coming on. By about 11 AM, I was absolutely useless. I had to wear an eye mask so I had total darkness. My husband rubbed my back, shoulders, and neck, but that offered a little relief. My doctor told me I could take Excedrin migraine and see if that helped. It did absolutely nothing. I’m on day two of the migraine now even the light from my phone is hurting me.

I drink 1 gallon of water a day. I ate plenty of fruits and vegetables. I go for walks every day unless I’m suffering with a migraine.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone had advice for pregnancy migraines. Thanks in advance
