My experience-Pregabalin?

Hi guys,

So after going through what feels like the a-z of migraine prevention treatment I've been put back on pregabalin which I tried a couple of years ago at a low 25mg dose to not much avail.

Doc has put me on 50mg x2 daily, one in morning and one at night before bed.

I've taken 3 tablets so far since yesterday morning and I know it's early but the way I see it all it kind of does is mask the headache/migraine and you feel quite spacey and out of it where you're just kind of going on auto pilot. I'm feeling my morning dose wear off at around 2pm and that's a long wait until 10-11pm at night. I kind of get the sense that it's kind of aggrevating my head pain more but masking at the same time with a sort of euphoric effect - does that make sense?

I just don't see how this could be a 'preventative'?

I'm scared incase I make things worse in the long run, if things can get worse that is as I'm in absolutely desperation mode!

Can anyone relate or share their experiences on this drug?

How long should I give this drug and should I introduce a middle of the day tablet?

Anyone feedback or thoughts would be much appreciated.
