My experience-Nurtec reaction (tongue)

I’ve been taking Nurtec since June, and it has been life changing for me. I am so much more functional and have been able to plan things and have fun this summer, which still feels hard to believe.

Unfortunately, I am having a weird reaction to Nurtec where it is making the tip of my tongue swollen and painful. At first I thought I burned it and forgot, or bit it, etc… but it gets better after I haven’t taken nurtec for a few days and gets worse if I need to take it for a few days in a row.

It’s not itchy, and I don’t have throat swelling. I already take antihistamines twice a day for environmental allergies, so I’m not super concerned about anaphylaxis. I am mostly concerned I will have to stop taking it and start the trial and error phase of migraine medication again. Ugh.

Anyway, anyone else have this happen?
