For some people, a warning symptom viewed as an air of secrecy takes location until now than or with the headache. An air of secrecy can consist of visible disturbances, such as flashes of mild or blind spots, or different disturbances, such as tingling on one thing of the face or in an arm or leg and concern speaking.
My experience-I think my new glasses are SIGNIFICANTLY exacerbating my migraines. The problem is, I need them. What can I do?
I used to wear contacts, which I put in in the morning, and take out in the evening. One prescription, all day, no problem.
Problem is, I've got severe dry eyes. After years of trying different types of contacts and different remedies, I threw in the towel and got a pair of glasses. I started getting headaches on one side quite regularly. Severe enough to wake me up at night. Not migraines (I get those on occasion, I know what they're like), just weird one-sided headaches. I'm pretty sure it's from taking the glasses off and putting them on, having my prescription change throughout the day. Unfortunately, sometimes they fog up, sometimes I gotta clean them, sometimes I gotta out on a shirt, sometimes I wanna lie down, sometimes I wanna shower, etc. My eye doctor confirmed it sounds like eye strain.
Suddenly, last week, the headaches showed their true colors and once last week, twice this week, they've presented the same: I wake up around 4am with a severe headache. Advil, if I can keep it down, does nothing. Within an hour, I start puking non-stop. It's miserable. There is nothing to throw up but my body WILL NOT stop trying. I take nausea meds (which I have for other reasons) and proceed to have a useless, miserable day. Intense brain fog, intense head pain when I move, nausea, you know the drill.
This is hell. But I can't go back to contacts. I don't want this to be my life now. What can I do?
