My experience-Had migraines all my life....

I have had a headache nearly every day of my life of various kinds. My migraines usually happen in the back of my head. I get intense pressure there which can turn into severe migraines, throwing up, seeing flashing stars, cold chills, hot flashes, no balance and more. I had one recently that lasted 4 days. It would be awful in the morning. Then better around the afternoon, then get bad again. At night usually waking me up about 3 am to throw up violently.

I also have ADHD and they are trying me on new meds. So 3 days into the migraine they started me on Vyvanse for my ADHD and by day 4 and the second dose my migraine stopped. My doctor told me that Vyvanse should have had the opposite effect. And that it should have made the pressure I felt worse. Almost like she didn't believe me....

Has anyone had Vyvanse help with migraines? Or is this a total fluke. I can't take migraine meds bc they do nothing or if they work then I eventually start hallucinating on them.

No one can figure it out. I'm on my 4th neurologist. Any thoughts at all would be helpful
