For some people, a warning symptom viewed as an air of secrecy takes location until now than or with the headache. My experience-Aimovig reaction

First, I might talk in circles a bit cause my brain don't work so good anymore, I am sorry about that :/

TL;DR daily migraines following a concussion, meds don't help, took 70mg Aimovig on 6.28, had a reaction (rash, inflammation in joints and muscles, trouble breathing). Aimovig took me from daily migraines to 3 painfree days and also helped with my normal joint pain. Allergic reaction has cleared up, but my migraines are different now and my scalp will randomly start burning.

I've been having daily post concussion migraines with aura for the last year, I've tried pretty much everything, nothing works and I get the weird side effects from medication (I also have a million allergies).

I finally got to see a neurologist a few months ago and he prescribed a 70mg Aimovig injection. I sat on it for a couple months worried I would have a reaction. At the end of June I decided to finally just do it and hope for the best.

Immediately had a reaction, started as a rash from the injection sight radiating outward, within 15 minutes my muscles were tight, joints inflamed, and was having some trouble breathing (thankfully not an anaphylactic reaction).

But it did work, since the injection I have had three totally pain free days, and the migraines I did have weren't as severe and didn't last quite as long, but they are accompanied by what I refer to as "the triptan burn"; the few times I have tried triptans I get this terrible burning/squeezing sensation in my head, like a very hot bear trap on my skull. Is that normal?

After a few weeks of Prednisone, and eating nothing but meat and a few veggies for almost two months(food allergy life)I'm mostly back to normal, however my head still burns (no change in shampoo or anything like that) and my migraines are still accompanied by the triptan burn. I also sometimes get shortlived but very painful explosions in my head... like lightning? I've had them before but they're much more frequent now

Has anyone else experienced this? How long until my migraines go back to normal?

If it helps at all a normal migraine is more sharp and stabby if it's in my temples or top of the head. If it's in my eye (usually the left one) it's a dull pulsing and pressure (like maybe my eye will explode? I dunno)

Thank you :)
