My experience-What is your experience with Orgasmic Headaches?

Hi all. I’m a 49 yo “healthy” male who had their first orgasmic headache on July 4th (my birthday). It was pretty textbook: explosive, back of head etc. I went to Urgent Care and all neuro test i passed. I will have an MRI just to rule out anything more sinister but all signs point to migraines and nothing beyond that. My question to others is what is your experience with this specifically? I am told this will likely occur in clusters and it has already. Experienced another headache upon orgasm last night. This one i could feel coming on and was not as “lightening bolt” as the first one - more a throbbing etc. since July 4th i have not been able to shake the headache although it has decreased in intensity. I will be going to migraine specialist but am just really curious about others. I have never heard of this before. I get migraines 3-4 times a year. I get tension headaches quite often so it seems i was a perfect host for these to appear…. I am new to this room and maybe it’s been discussed. How did you move thru your life with these clusters and how long did they last (years?) Any info welcomed. Any exercises? Food changes? Acupuncture? Massage? I started CBD and last night it actually helped a little but not sure if it was just placebo…. I am also keeping a “headache journal”. I am in doctors care and will continue but my primary wanted to instantly put me on a daily anti-depressant used for tension headaches. I said no cos the last thing i want is to be on a daily script with side effects and difficult to stop taking. At least let me gather more info and have someone examine me further. It seemed weird. I prefer a holistic approach- traditional medicine and western combined is fine by me- each fills a different need but i ultimately want to figure out the source and fix that. (Than my symptoms go away….) Is it truly tension and anxiety? An emotional illness?
