My experience-near constant pain and pressure at base of skull, weird vertigo and imbalance issues, TMJ. I'm very overwhelmed and unable to find answers

23 female, no medications.

Saw a neurologist today who ordered a MRI due to the jarring vertigo I get but I know it'll come back clear so I'm just confused as to what my next steps should be. I have TMJ from an injury two summers ago but I don't grind my teeth so mouth guards are useless. I sometimes get headaches but mostly just pain at the base of my skull and just a feeling of walking on a floaty surface. Sometimes I get eye pain and am sensitive to certain patterns.

The neurologist didn't seem very helpful so that was discouraging, he just said to drink water and get sleep....? Which I do.

Anyone with similar experiences who can help me ?
