My experience-Menstrual Migraines and issue with the Neck? Has anyone tried Physiotherapy? Thoughts?

I'm 36 and the migraines around menses started 2 years ago. Getting menstrual migraines either before, during or after the time of the month. Always end up being triggered by alcohol I think, but I have gotten a headach-y without. I know, I know don't drink during that time, but I'm always going along feeling great, have a drink and then BAM, migraine for the next 2-3 days along with neck pain and soreness on the LEFT side only where the headache is.

I have also experienced a mild migraine headache and neck pain around ovulation with no alcohol trigger.

I've recently seen this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFV4Pa_QtWM that is explaining the relationship between the neck and migraine and it being a sensitized brain stem perceiving the shift in hormones as a threat causing pain.

This guy's practice is promoting the Watson Technique out of Australia. https://watsonheadache.com/why-its-not-about-hormones/

Can't seem to find any practitioner in the state where I live, doesn't seem to be many in U.S. Wondering if anyone on here has experience with this technique? Or any physio therapies to treat menstrual migraine?

Here's an NIH study that seemed to find a link to issues with the neck and menstrual migraine. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4403326/

Would love to hear anyone thoughts on the subject or what has helped you with menstrual related migraine!

Thanks!
