Hello my suffering friends, I hope you are feeling good today with no/minimal pain.

I quit my job in May, mostly because of my migraines. I admit, I rack up more sick days than the average employee. I am on Aimovig for prevention and have cut a lot of foods out of my diet over the years, but at the end of the day, it's a condition I've had for 20 years and will continue to have for a long time. Because I know I will always have a lot of absences, I work my ass off on the days that I am healthy. Almost every job I've ever worked at says the same thing: "Coconutpills always meets and often exceeds expectations, except for her sick days."

So when I am interviewing for new jobs and they ask the usual question, "why did you leave your last job?" how would you recommend that I respond?

I don't want to shoot myself in the foot by admitting that I will always take a lot of sick days, but I also don't want to lie about it.
