My experience-Head pain triggered by intense exercise

When I was younger I used to be a softball pitcher. Sometimes during practice or games I’d throw a pitch and immediately get intense pain in the back of my head that lasted ~30-45seconds max. This felt like something popped and pain would immediately spread throughout the back of my head until it would slowly disappear. Not sure if this is what Ice Pick headaches feel like but curious to see if anyone has had this before? I don’t always get them during exercise, it’s usually only when I’m REALLY doing something that involves a lot of intense focus/muscle movements if that makes sense?
