I’d like to hear some experiences from those who have tried Depakote for migraine prevention. I know everyone is different, but I still find it helpful to hear from other people. When I search there’s not as much personal experience for Depakote as other preventatives and google gives me all the scary side effects. My Dr says this is a first line drug that I was not able to try previously due to wanting children. My insurance is making me try it now before they will give me Qulipta. I’m wary as I know it’s an anti-seizure medicine and I did not have a good experience with Topamax.
