Migraine overview
A migraine is a headache that can purpose intense throbbing suffering or a pulsing sensation, typically on one facet of the head. It's often accompanied with the aid of nausea, vomiting, and excessive sensitivity to mild and sound. Migraine assaults can closing for hours to days, and the discomfort can be so excessive that it interferes with your each day activities. For some people, a warning symptom viewed as an air of secrecy takes location until now than or with the headache. An air of secrecy can consist of visible disturbances, such as flashes of mild or blind spots, or different disturbances, such as tingling on one thing of the face or in an arm or leg and concern speaking.
My experience-Apparently I have migraines, but I didn’t know that’s what they were ?
I’ve had this happen to me a lot, usually when I have been under intense stress.
I currently see lights uncomfortably bright, my scalp feels weird, head pressure and pain, tension below the head in the back of the neck.
What brought this on was Thursday I had a neck spasm, after doing karaoke and being in a bar where people were smoking and also taking a hit off a weed pen. I ate a lot of cough drops and probably used muscles extensively that I normally don’t use? I am not sure
Then my neck spasm (I have had a double spinal fusion that covers half my spine) wasn’t fully well and I decided to take mdma Saturday night and I went out and danced, and I took aleve and gabapentin.
Didn’t get much sleep Saturday night and had some scary thoughts last night (have since thrown away all my drugs). Took aleve and that seemed to help but I woke up again after only a few hours of sleep, with a brief period of extreme anxiety. Managed to go back to sleep for a few more hours. I’m still having symptoms today.
The reason I didn’t think such things were migraines is I have had a headache before (but I don’t commonly get them) and I thought a migraine was a bad headache
My big question is what can I do to reduce this, besides just waiting it out?
I have to go back to work Wednesday and I do not feel in shape for it yet
