My experience-2 weeks off artificial sweeteners

For the last 2 weeks I eliminated aspartame and splenda. I didn't really notice a difference in my headaches at the time. However, when I finally tried a coke zero, it triggered a headache. A day or two later, I tried coke zero again and the headache I had didn't improve. It probably aggravated the headache. Aspertame is most likely making things worse (in my case).

So, that's it for me and aspertame. I'm still evaluating splenda and it looks like it might be a trigger as well.

If you haven't already tried, I encourage others to avoid artificial sweeteners for at least 2 weeks. It may not cure migraines or headaches, but they could improve.
